How Are Backups Handled?

All game servers are backed up automatically every night at 4:00 AM Eastern time. Backups are retained for 7 days.

What is backed up:

• World/save data
• Server configuration files
• Mod and plugin lists

Restoring a backup:

Backup restoration is performed manually by the administrator. To request a restore, open a support ticket and specify:

• Which server
• Which date you want to restore to
• What specifically went wrong

Restores are typically completed within a few hours.

Tip: For Minecraft, you can also export your world locally using the in-game "Save to LAN" and then backing up your local saves folder.
